China knocks ‘witch hunt’ against Huawei involvement in UK 5G networks

Ambassador Liu Xiaoming stated the group was unfairly persecuting Huawei for geopolitical reasons. “Huawei is a private-owned business, nothing to do with the Chinese federal government.

The UK’s choice to partly include Huawei in its 5G network came as a massive blow to the Trump administration, which has actually been lobbying its allies to freeze Huawei out of their 5G equipment completely on the premises that the business offers technological “backdoors” for Chinese federal government espionage.
