The 35- year-old man from Washington State, who is remaining confidential, informed AP that he was eagerly anticipating going back to “regular life” after being treated at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Washington.
He first fell ill after returning on January 15 from a company trip to Wuhan, China, where the infection– officially called 2019- nCoV– originated.
According to the Snohomish Health District, he began feeling ill the day after landing at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. 3 days later on, he headed to a health center in Snohomish and gotten blood tests that evening, which confirmed him as a coronavirus victim by early morning.

He will remain in seclusion in the coming days and will be monitored by health officials, who did not verify exactly when he was released.
The man was the first of 11 cases presently validated in the U.S.A. by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
He said: “No one wants to be the first in the country in these types of scenarios, however these are the types of situations that public health and its partners train and prepare for.
