- After the game, President Donald Trump attempted to tweet his congratulations to the Chiefs for their victory.
- Unfortunately for the president, he mistakenly referenced the team as being from the state of Kansas, when the Chiefs actually hail from Kansas City, Missouri.

The Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV on Sunday, defeating the San Francisco 49 ers 31-20 to raise the Lombardi Prize for the very first time in 50 years.
After the game, President Donald Trump tweeted congratulations to the team.
” Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs on a fantastic game and a wonderful return under tremendous pressure,” Trump wrote. “We are proud of you and the Great State of Kansas. You hold true Champions!”
As many Twitter users were quick to mention, there was one little problem with Trump’s tweet– the Kansas City Chiefs are based in Missouri, not Kansas.

For most Americans, mistakenly positioning Kansas City in the state of Kansas is a safe, humorous knowing experience– Kansas is right there in the name!
