Italian restaurant chain Carluccio’s is dealing with collapse, after cautioning it was facing irreversible branch closures due to the coronavirus.
Administrator FRP stated it was working with Carluccio’s to “consider all alternatives” for the restaurant’s future.
Limitations intended at suppressing the coronavirus pandemic have recently required all coffee shops and dining establishments to close

” FRP is working with the directors of Carluccio’s to think about all choices for the business in the existing climate,” a spokesperson for the administrator said.
Carluccio’s has actually dealt with some hard times in recent years, closing a 3rd of its dining establishments in 2018 as part of a Business Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) rescue strategy.
Prezzo and Byron also used CVAs to close dining establishments while Jamie’s Italian went into administration last yea r.
The chain was founded more than 20 years ago by star chef and restaurateur Antonio Carluccio, who passed away aged 80 in2017
