Coronavirus: United States to set Level 4 ‘do not travel’ cautioning for all nations

The United States State Department released its highest-level travel cautioning to each of the world’s countries on Thursday, basically cautioning versus any travel abroad.

The relocation comes as nations attempt to consist of the spread of the novel coronavirus, which has therefore far infected a reported 227,000 people and eliminated more than 9,300 worldwide.

The announcement comes after Politico wrote that it was impending, citing unnamed sources in reporting that a blanket “Level 4” travel advisory would be applied to all international travel.

16 nations had Level 4 advisories prior to the blanket caution, including Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Iran, and China.

The State Department did not immediately return a request for comment.
