A jet heading to Newark was diverted to an unscheduled drop in Denver– since a group of guests erroneously believed someone coughing from allergic reactions might have coronavirus, according to reports.

United Airlines flight 1562 had left Eagle, Colorado, on Sunday when a little group of passengers ended up being “disruptive” over a guest who was coughing and sneezing nearby, the airline informed local media.

The industrial flight made a detour to Denver for what “remained in no chance a medical situation,” the airline company informed CBS4 of the fracas.

Police met the flight and got rid of the disruptive travelers, the airline company informed the station.

The sneezing traveler was examined on the aircraft and identified to simply be suffering from allergies, with no fever, United Airlines said.

That guest remained on the flight, which left once again for New Jersey about 30 minutes later, the station states.

The FBI is examining since this circumstance happened mid-flight, CBS4 said. It was unclear if any charges will be filed, the station worried.
