A business in Austin, Texas is wanting to dock pay from workers who receive federal government stimulus checks, according to an anonymous employee.

An unnamed company in Texas, however, appears to be seeking to use the stimulus to alleviate their payroll stress.

On Wednesday, the business sent out a form entitled “Worker Recognition of ‘Federal Government Assistance’ Pay Decrease.”

The form was reported by a staff member who wanted to remain confidential, but the worker spoke to regional news KXAN about the situation.

” The form states they are preemptively deducting funds from our paychecks. That number is based on what they’re expecting the federal government relief fund to be,” the worker informed the outlet.
