- Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman pressed Anderson Cooper to the edge of peace of mind during a winding and complicated interview on CNN on Wednesday afternoon.
- The more Cooper attempted to push Goodman for truths and proof, the more the interview unraveled.
- ” You’re talking about the disease– I’m talking about life and living,” Goodman told Cooper.

Goodman’s profile has actually risen amid the coronavirus because of her calls for what’s been described as a ” Appetite Games” or survival-of-the-fittest approach to reopening the strip.
The essence of the confusion came down to Cooper asking Goodman about what obligation she has to keep casino clients and employees safe.

Cooper also tried to reveal Goodman a graphic showing how the infection spread person to person in China early on, with a diagram of tables popping up on the screen prior to Goodman cut him off.
” Wow, OK, that’s actually ignorant,” Cooper shot back.
At another point, Cooper’s persistence subsided as he offered a curt assessment of Goodman’s performance offered her role as a public servant.
” You’re using absolutely nothing other than being a cheerleader,” Cooper said.
