The federal government strategies to fund and perform the decisive research studies of three speculative coronavirus vaccines beginning this summer, according to a lead federal government vaccine scientist.
These phase 3 trials are expected to involve 10s of thousands of topics at lots of sites around the U.S., John Mascola, director of the vaccine research center at the National Institute of Allergic Reaction and Infectious Illness, said.
