PepsiCo System to Retire Aunt Jemima Brand Name, Pointing Out Origins in ‘Racist Stereotype’

The PepsiCo Inc. unit that sells Aunt Jemima items stated it would retire the brand name because of its origins in racist images of black individuals, while Mars Inc. stated it was considering altering its Uncle Ben’s brand name.
