VICTORVILLE– The J.C. Penney shop inside the Shopping center of Victor Valley dodged the closure bullet when the economically having a hard time business launched a list of 154 stores they plan to completely shutter.
” While closing shops is always an incredibly difficult decision, our shop optimization method is vital to ensuring we emerge from both Chapter 11 and the COVID-19 pandemic as a stronger merchant with higher monetary versatility to enable us to continue serving our devoted clients for decades to come,” CEO Jill Soltau stated in a statement.
After nearly 30 years in service, the Sears shop located inside the shopping center closed previously this year after the business announced in 2019 that it would shutter 96 more shops throughout the country, the Daily Press reported.
