Rick Smith, the male who pioneered Taser stun guns, states he wishes to produce a next-generation Taser that is so effective policeman will not need to utilize their handguns anymore. But he says it will take 10 years.
” Lethal force, even today, is still the most efficient way to stop a danger,” Mr. Smith, chief executive and creator of Axon Enterprise Inc., stated in an interview. “If we had actually raised weapons that can do the job and not kill somebody, then the reasoning for killing individuals disappears.”
