The Trump administration’s newest rules on international trainees are leaving colleges in a bind: hold in-person classes– a proposal many have considered too harmful– or run the risk of losing enrollees from abroad.
Under the policy, provided Monday by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, global trainees won’t be allowed to go into or stay in the nation if their universities choose to teach classes entirely online this fall.
