Job Search Tips: Universal Pictures is negotiating to get Tom Cruise’s new space movie: report

Universal Pictures is supposedly working out to get the deal to produce Tom Cruise’s new movie that he wishes to shoot in space, Range reported.
Cruise announced in May that he was partnering with NASA to shoot a film in space and was hoping to arrive on a SpaceX rocket.
The movie is most likely to cost $200 million but no script or timeline for filming has been revealed yet.

Tom Cruise plans to shoot a brand-new film in Space, and Universal Pictures has been negotiating to land the film, Range reported.

In May, Service Insider reported that Cruise was partnering with NASA to shoot a film in area and was wishing to get there on a SpaceX rocket.

The movie will be directed by Doug Liman and sources informed Range the production will likely cost close to $200 million. It would be the very first motion picture to be shot in space.

According to Range, the film could have a significant effect on the industry. One person knowledgeable about the project told the outlet: “you can’t make certain what you’re going to get up there, and you have one shot to do it.”

Organisation Insider reported that NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine verified that the company will work with Cruise to shoot the movie in International Spaceport station.

According to Due Date, which initially reported the news of the task to shoot in area, there’s still no details on a story or script for the motion picture. There is also no timeline on when this movie would begin production.

Range reported that two major streaming platforms were not invited to bid on the job.

Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX stated the job “must be a lot of enjoyable,” in a tweet in May.

It was a historical moment for the personal rocket company and the first launch from American soil because July 2011.
