Investors were mainly disappointed by electric-vehicle start-up Nikola’s very first revenues statement this week.
Turns out it was all from setting up solar panels purchased by creator and executive chairman Trevor Milton.
” During the three months ended June 30, 2020 and 2019 the Company tape-recorded solar revenues of $0.
The business also disclosed a $70,000 compensation for Milton’s use of a private aircraft for company service. “These flight hours relate to service travel by the Executive Chairman and other members of the executive group to business conferences and trade conferences, in addition to the Executive Chairman’s commute between the Company’s headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, and his house in Utah.”
Milton, who shifted from chief executive to the chairman role in current months and stays the company’s biggest investor, has amassed a reputation for his outspoken Twitter presence that’s not unlike his equivalent at Tesla, Elon Musk.
” It’s a bit confusing trying to follow Trevor on his numerous social networks outlets about the timing and cadence of interaction of the various variables that you’re talking about,” one expert mentioned on a conference call.
