On Tuesday, Uber announced that corporate workers will be allowed to voluntarily work from home through June2021

” As a company developed on flexible working, we want to provide our team with versatility, choice and longer term clarity so they can plan ahead,” the business stated in a statement to Company Insider.

In order to accommodate this modification, Uber will be offering a $500 stipend to assist workers with their home office setups.

If regional workplaces open before June 2021, employees will have the choice going back to the office if they feel comfy. Uber said that whatever decision employees make will not factor into efficiency reviews.
