MILAN– Italy’s coronavirus outbreak continued to spread out, bucking efforts to contain it mainly to 2 rural areas near Milan and Venice.
At least 322 individuals had been confirmed to have contracted the infection in Italy as of Tuesday afternoon, up from around 283 at midday, Italian authorities said.
