Facebook has canceled an approaching global marketing conference that was to be kept in San Francisco’s Moscone Center due to fears associated with the spread of the coronavirus, which is now being described as COVID-19

” Out of an abundance of caution, we canceled our Global Marketing Summit due to progressing public health dangers connected to coronavirus,” a Facebook representative informed several news outlets in a declaration on Friday.

The occasion was arranged for March 9-12, and 4,000 individuals were expected to go to. The Chronicle reported that Facebook reassured San Francisco Travel that the cancellation had nothing to do with the city and area particularly.

” Facebook has assured us that it is not associated with San Francisco specifically and we eagerly anticipate welcoming them back in 2021, 2022 and beyond,” Joe D’Alessandro, president and CEO of San Francisco Travel stated in a statement to the Chronicle.
