AT&T’s WarnerMedia Soaks up Xandr Ad Tech Unit

is combining its WarnerMedia and Xandr organisation systems– which has actually long been anticipated by business insiders– in an effort to have a single marketing sales and technology offering across the company.

AT&T developed Xandr in 2018 from existing advertisement businesses including its advanced TV unit AdWorks and the advertising innovation business AppNexus, which it obtained that year.

The Xandr company unit produced $489 million in first-quarter profits, up almost 15%year over year, according to AT&T’s revenues report. A few of the income scheduled under Xandr originates from AT&T’s pay-TV businesses including DirecTV.
