The pandemic required Carnival Cruises to cancel trips through the end of July, but the cruise line has actually announced brand-new dates for journeys cruising out of Galveston beginning this August.
The cruise line’s reopening procedure employs 8 ships that will leave from Galveston, Miami and Port Canaveral. Royal Caribbean Cruises also has dates planned for trips sailing out of Galveston in August and September. The cruise line suspended worldwide fleets due to the pandemic but stated in a declaration on its site it wants to resume journeys beginning Aug. 1.
