Any accident including a Tesla, especially one that’s apparently running in Auto-pilot mode, is thought about big news by lots of outlets. And an accident in Taiwan this weekend appears to have met the criteria for that– at least according to some outlets.
But as we will explain, there’s a great deal of contextual understanding we require to bear in mind for each and each of these over-publicized accidents that can teach us a lot about autonomous vehicles and how they’re mistreated.
