Keith McNulty, the international director of people analytics and management at McKinsey, told Service Expert that the company hoped the game, which was included to the recruitment process in January 2019, would help applicants from a range of backgrounds land jobs.
It’s famously hard to land a job at McKinsey ( about 1%of applicants get a deal).
I got a chance to attempt out the video game.
Here’s what I learned from testing out McKinsey’s problem-solving assessment.

” The work that we need to do can alter a lot,” McNulty said.

McNulty recommended that gamers be open-minded due to the fact that the game most likely will not be what they anticipate. The director said candidates need to plan to play the video game in a setting where they ‘d be most focused and productive.
” You don’t desire a location where you ‘d be easily sidetracked while there are other things going on around you,” he included. “It might be a game, but being able to concentrate is very, really important too.”
