Mayor de Blasio airs federal government takeover of Con Edison in wake of power blackouts

Amid continuous power failures caused by Hurricane Isaias, Mayor de Blasio recommended Monday the federal government need to consider taking over Con Edison.

“They were tossed a genuine hard curveball here, however plainly they were not in the kind of position we would have wanted,” he stated on NY1.
